I don't like horse racing anymore. I can't explain it, but I can't watch it anymore without crying or tearing up. I just feel so bad for the horses. I don't know. I can't explain it.
You're not off kilter. Horse racing is somewhat less cruel than dog fighting or capturing wild animals to cage them for the circus, but it is part of the same continuum of human hubris.
